Carl Michaeld

Located at Djurgården, once the royal hunting grounds, Carl Michael is inspired by the 18th century Inns. From the ambition to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere grew the design concept of the 18th century party tent with unmatched chairs, simple benches with pillows and ornaments and materials inspired from the period such as Leather, Stone, Tar, Oakwood, Saddle Girth and Perfume,Iron and Glass.

The lighting is almost entirely made out of live candles letting the lighting itself be a historical reference. In collaboration with the chef´s the menu was set to be exclusively traditionally Swedish from seasonal ingredients.
